Drive to Tajik-Afghan border in Tem check point. Checking and crossing the border on Tajik side and Afghan side. Drive to Shugnan (Bashor). Registration in local security office.
Usually the head of the office – commander is happy to talk to visitors and happy to take photos. 30km.
Lunch in local restaurant.
Afternoon short trip around Bashor: visit teachers training center, hospital, handicraft workshop and local market.
In teachers training center you can talk to some students-future teachers. Some of them speak English.
At local hospital you can talk to the head of the hospital, doctors and nurses and find out information about their daily life and activities.
In local market you can take photos, talk to local traders and customers. Come back to the border not later than 3:00PM, as sometimes the border could be closed earlier.
